OHCHR representative in Bolivia asks to visit detainees

The legal standoff continues in La Paz over the case of three detained noncommissioned officers. Most recently, Denis Racicot, the representative in Bolivia of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has asked to visit the men. The military court continues to insist that the governing statute has not been found incompatible with the Bolivian Constitution. Click here for the current state of play.
