Is it a military offense for personnel to sue the government in the civilian courts?

A full bench of the Lahore High Court has required the Judge Advocate General of the Pakistan Army and the Ministry of Defence to respond to an Air Force officers claim that he has been put under court-martial charges for filing a case against the authorities in the civilian courts over the denial of his request to be released from active duty. Pakistani case law appears to be in conflict on whether civilian courts can review military matters. Dawn has this report
