Military, civilian judges may consult about which should try Thai case against civilian protester

The Bangkok Post reports that a civilian being prosecuted in military court for participating in an unauthorized political demonstration is demanding that his case be tried in civilian court. Excerpt:
"The [military] court judge has given prosecutors 15 days to decide whether to object to the request before holding a joint meeting with a judge from the civilians' court to come to an agreement."
